LEBANON - The second suspect in a Lebanon restaurant burglary has been extradited back to Maine after being arrested earlier this week in New Hampshire in what one Maine State Trooper called a "prolific" burglary spree carried out by the two.

Timothy Hudon, 36, of 409 Portland St., Rochester, was picked up last Sunday after multiple police agencies worked together to gather evidence in the case and zero in on the suspect's whereabouts.

Hudon, along with Melissa Ramos, 39, of 5A Mooseridge Road, Ossipee, N.H., is accused of breaking into Dee's Diner on Carl Broggi Highway between Nov. 2 and 3.

The noose began to tighten on the morning of Nov. 7, when an employee of Rockingham Electric saw a suspicious car in their Winter Street parking lot before the store opened, walked out to a yellow Chevrolet Cavalier and told the people inside to leave, Maine State Trooper Tyler Martin told The Lebanon Voice in an exclusive interview earlier this week.

Later a pile of gift cards for Dee's Diner was found in the area of the vehicle.

Rochester Police identified the suspect car as being from Carroll County whose sheriff's office was notified. Lawmen there were familiar with the vehicle and put out a BOLO. It was located on Sunday after which a search warrant was executed resulting in the seizure of more stolen items inside the car as well as the tool used to break into Dee's Diner, Martin said.

Arrest warrants for both were issued on Nov. 10.

Ramos, who was already in Carroll County Jail on a separate charge, was arrested immediately, while Hudon was picked up Sunday and extradited back to Maine the next day, Martin said.

More stolen items from the Dee's burglary and several other burglaries were found at Ramos' former address, Martin added.
