ROCHESTER - A transient already in prison after Rochester Police arrested him earlier this month was hit with more drug and theft charges on Thursday as a result of evidence found inside his seized stolen vehicle.

City police first became involved in an investigation on June 14 when they went to Gold & Things Trading Center on South Main Street to assist Kittery, Maine, police in recovering stolen property.

At that time the suspect, Adam D. Jenna, 37, was on scene, and subsequently arrested on outstanding warrants, which were unrelated to the investigation at hand.

Jenna was charged with a parole violation, a bench warrant from Rochester 7th Circuit Court and a burglary warrant from Chichester Police.

Police also seized the vehicle Jenna arrived in, a Honda HVR, which was found to be stolen out of Sutton. After a search warrant was granted, police scoured the vehicle finding stolen property, drugs, and burglary tools.

On Thursday Rochester Police traveled New Hampshire State Prison in Concord and arrested Jenna on the following charges:

Receiving Stolen Property - class A Felony

Receiving Stolen Property - class B Felony

Possession of Controlled/Narcotic Drug - class B Felony

Possession of Controlled/Narcotic Drug - class A Misdemeanor

Possession of Burglary Tools - class A Misdemeanor

Felon in Possession of Dangerous Weapon - class B Felony

Driving after Suspension - violation

Jenna refused the services of a bail commissioner, and is scheduled for arraignment today at Strafford County Superior Court.
