MILTON – In a move that took townspeople by surprise, Selectman Bob Bridges announced at Monday’s regularly scheduled selectman’s meeting that he was resigning from the board.
Bridges tendered his resignation to become effective immediately.
In a brief email to department heads and others, Town Administrator Liz Dionne said that Bridges “did a great job while he was on the board and he will be missed.”
She added that the remaining selectmen will be discussing the appointment of a third interim officeholder at an upcoming meeting.
