"Local elections impact our lives every day," said Michele Holt-Shannon, Director and Co-founder of NH Listens. "Hosting a chance for voters to meet, learn about, and ask questions of local candidates is a simple but vital way for us to support authentic community engagement."

At the Nov. 2 election, voters from all wards will elect the Mayor, two at-large City Councilors, and one at-large School Board member. In addition, voters in each of the six Dover wards will elect a City Councilor and School Board member and election officers, including a Supervisor of the Checklist, Moderator, three Selectpersons, and a Ward Clerk. All elected positions are two-year terms. Voters will also have the opportunity to vote on 20 proposed amendments to the City of Dover's Charter.
