SOMERSWORTH - Shannon Marie Roberge, 49, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024. Born on August 13, 1975, Shannon was the daughter of Richard and Jacqueline (Turcotte) Adrien. Shannon was a loving mom to her two daughters, Alicia and Emily. She took every opportunity she could to be around them and always put her family first. Family gatherings were her favorite, whether it was a backyard BBQ by KK's pool or a chaotic Adrien Thanksgiving party on Lincoln Street. Summertime brought the best out in Shannon, as she hated being cold. Since childhood, she shared a family tradition of an annual camping trip to Papoose Pond for many summers. She loved to sit by a fire, in a "fire coma" as she would call it, and tell stories from growing up the youngest of 12 siblings. She was a seafood lover who enjoyed driving to Wells Beach, where her family once had cabins, to crack lobsters and savor every bite. Shannon was passionate about making home cooked meals, like spaghetti or beef stroganoff, and unexpectedly bringing leftovers to family and friends just to show them she loved them. She had an infectious laugh, bright smile, and loved silly jokes. Shannon is predeceased by her loving father, Richard Adrien and her faithful furry companion, Vader. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Alicia Roberge and fiancé, Kris Frank and Emily Roberge, and their father, Brian Roberge; mother, Jacqueline Adrien; siblings, Denise Ambrose and husband, Ron, Karen Gauthier and husband, Roland, Donna Houde and husband, Phil, Ronald Adrien, Linda Rogers and husband, Larry, Raymond Adrien and wife, Tena, Rene Adrien, Carole Garrett and husband, Robert, Steven Adrien, Christopher Adrien and wife, Lauren, and James Adrien and wife, Jennifer. She was also a loving Auntie Sha Sha to many nieces and nephews, and a MeeSha to her beloved grand-dog, Gully.
