Single deadliest day for COVID with 21 deaths; hospitalizations see another spike

CONCORD - DHHS announced 928 new positive test results for COVID-19, for a daily PCR test positivity rate of 6.4 percent on Wednesday. The newly identified cases include 103 juveniles and 74 from Strafford County.

Locally, current cases also continue to rise, with 103 in Rochester, 146 in Dover, 50 in Somersworth, 37 in Somersworth, 30 in Barrington, 37 in Farmington, 23 in Strafford and 14 in Milton.

DHHS has also announced 21 additional deaths related to COVID-19, none from Strafford County and one of whom was under 60.

There are currently 286 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19.
