LEBANON - The field of candidates for two selectman races to be decided on May 9 is set.

Vying for a second three-year term will be incumbent Lebanon Selectman Royce Heath, who will be challenged by former Lebanon town clerk Laura Bragg, who is currently a budget committee member.

In addition to the regular three-year slot, a second race will fill a two-year term to fill the seat formerly held by selectboard chair Christine Torno, who resigned earlier this month citing personal reasons.

The field in that race includes Budget Committee Chair Bettie Harris-Howard, former budget committee member Richard Harlow; Harrison Thorp, who is editor of The Lebanon Voice online newspaper and David White.

A Candidates Night forum has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 11, at 6 p.m. at the Lebanon Elementary School, town clerk Dale Fiske said today.
