Snow emergency parking ban in effect again tonight

ROCHESTER - Another Rochester snow emergency declaration is in effect tonight from 11 p.m. through 6 a.m. on Thursday while the Department of Public Works will be doing snow removal in the two downtown areas.
The following streets will be affected:
Downtown Rochester
South Main from Lambert to North Main Street.
North Main St. From South Main to Maple Street.
Wakefield Street from South Main to Union Street.
Portland Street from Columbus Ave to Charles Street.
All of Union Street, Bridge Street, Hanson Street, Central Ave, Liberty Street, Granite Street and Davyanne Locke.
Downtown Gonic

Main Street from Colby Street to Pickering Road.
All of Colby Street.
Church Street from Main Street to rear entrance to Gonic Mill.
Railroad Avenue from Pickering Rd to the Gonic School.

No vehicle without an exemption permit may be parked on above streets or in city parking lots during this time.

In the future, when a snow emergency is declared in the "downtown areas" the parking restrictions will be on the streets described above only.
