Somersworth man, Hooksett transient face life in woman's fentanyl overdose death

DOVER - A Somersworth man is facing life in prison in the fentanyl death of a Somersworth woman last October.

Kenneth Gordon Maciaszek, 49, formerly of 358 Main St., is charged with acts prohibited-death resulting in the Oct. 1, 2018, overdose death of Cynthia Fox, 48.

According to charging documents, Maciaszek along with Michael Fox, 56, of Somersworth "knowingly dispensed a quantify ... of fentanyl to Cynthia Fox," who ingested the drug resulting in her death.

Maciaszek was also arrested in a string of area burglaries on Oct. 18, 2019.

Michael Fox, who was arrested on a death resulting charge on May 3 and indicted in September 2019, also faces a life sentence.

Maciaszek is currently being held on no bail at Strafford County Jail, according to jail personnel. Fox was released on personal recognizance on May 6.
