ROCHESTER - A Good Samaritan who noticed a car driving in the wrong lane led to the arrest of a Somersworth woman for driving drunk while having a toddler in the back seat of her car Friday night.

The arrest unfolded around 8:30 p.m. as the caller notified Rochester Police Dispatch that a driver was "all over the road" and "driving in the wrong lane" on Farmington Road.

When a Rochester officer made contact with the driver a short time later at the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street a field sobriety test was administered and Joslin Carrier-Dubois, 23, of Verona Road, was taken into custody for aggravated DWI, a Class A misdemeanor.

Police say a toddler was riding in the back seat of Carrier-Dubois' vehicle resulting in a child endangerment charge, a Class B misdemeanor.

A Class A misdemeanor can result in imprisonment in the county jail for up to 12 months, while the endangerment charge carries a fine but no jail time.

The toddler, who was found in the back seat restrained in a child safety device, was released to the custody of its father.
