Star on the rise on tap for Governor's Inn benefit concert

ROCHESTER - The Rochester Opera House and The Governor's Inn will be hosting a special concert on April 7 featuring Kacie Grenon and 'Last Reach' to benefit the new Rochester Performance & Arts Center in downtown Rochester.

Kacie Grenon is a 14-year-old singer, songwriter, recording artist from the seacoast area of New Hampshire and has a soulful voice that combines elements of pop, alternative rock, and country. She accompanies her vocals with acoustic guitar and ukulele and plays an eclectic mix of cross-genre cover songs as well as original music.

All proceeds from the concert will directly support the upcoming Rochester Performance & Arts Center, located at 32 North Main St. and slated to open in the early summer with construction already under way.

The Rochester Performance & Arts Center will combine versatile studio and performance spaces, art gallery, and comprehensive arts and educational programming for students, children, teens, adults, and seniors in a comfortable and uniquely supportive environment.

The benefit concert will take place at The Governor's Inn on Friday, April 7 from 8-9 p.m. with Last Reach. A more intimate set will take place at the Garage (next to The Governor's Inn) from 9:15-10 p.m. Visit www.rochesteroperahouse.com or www.governorsinn.com for more information.
