Statewide COVID-19 hospitalizations now stand at 77

CONCORD - DHHS announced 279 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Tuesday for a daily PCR test positivity rate of 2 percent.

The newly identified cases include 18 juveniles and 23 from Strafford County.

DHHS also announced two additional deaths related to COVID-19, both of them in individuals over 60.

There are currently 77 cases hospitalized with COVID-19 in New Hampshire.

Local DHHS numbers show Rochester with 56 cases, Dover at 88, Somersworth at 20, Barrington at 14, Farmington at 16 Milton at 11 and Strafford with none. It should be noted that state DHHS numbers often differ from what local officials show. On Tuesday EOC Chief Mark Klose said his numbers show 33 active cases in Rochester.
