ROCHESTER - Stephen A. Sleeper, 68, of 3 Soapstone Lane, died Monday, January 9, 2017, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born January 11, 1948, in Laconia, N.H., the son of the late Stephen and Virginia (Bedard) Sleeper.
He received his Associates Degree from Daniel Webster College. Steve retired from Middleton Lumber and Supply Company.
He enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke and especially spending time with his family at the lake. An active member of the Rochester Elks Lodge #1393 Steve enjoyed volunteering there.
Members of his family include his wife of ten years, Judy (Carlson) Sleeper; son, Shaun Sleeper; daughter, Stephanie Barnes; stepdaughter, Tammy Jordan; grandchildren, Connor, Morgan and Abigail; brothers, David and Rick Sleeper; sisters, Joanne Gillespie and Sharon Marcotte , the mother of his children, Claire Sleeper, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
