Stonewall Kitchen adds some high-end specialty foods to its flagship jams, jellies

ROCHESTER - Stonewall Kitchen has been around since 1991, but when their new store at The Ridge opens later this month, shoppers will also see a plethora of other specialty food brands, including Legal Seafood dressings and sauces and the Tillen Farms' brand of pickled vegetables and high-end cocktail garnishes.

Stonewall Kitchen Communications Specialist Margeau Maertens said on Friday the company had acquired four brands in the past two years, alone, making them the premier specialty food platform in the country.

Beside Tillen Farms and Legal Seafood, shoppers visiting the new store will see Napa Valley Naturals' premium brands of olive oils, balsamic vinegars and wine vinegars; and Montebello's artisan organic pasta imported from Italy.

Maertens said that not all the brands will be available when they open, but those that will include, Tillen Farms, Legal Sea Foods, Montebello, Napa Valley Naturals as well as their flagship Stonewall Kitchen line.

Other acquired brands like Vermont Village and Village Candle are expected to be added later.

The Legal Seafood partnership is the result of a collaboration between Stonewall Kitchen and the Legal Sea Foods restaurant chain.

The new store will be located next to Petco and include 4,758-square-foot of space with a nearly 20-foot ceiling.

No date has been set for the opening.
