Strafford man will avoid jail in rash of thefts if he completes drug court

Benjamin Hatch (2019 mugshot)

DOVER - A Strafford man who pleaded guilty on Wednesday to six theft charges including at least one felony from 2020 and 2021 will spend no time in jail if he successfully completes a Strafford County Drug Court Program.

Benjamin Hatch, 26, received a 2-4 year sentence for the thefts in addition to a one-year fully suspended sentence for willful concealment.

Hatch will also spend three years on probation and have to pay restitution on the theft charges, according to Strafford County Assistant Attorney Katelyn Henmueller who prosecuted the case.
