CONCORD - State DHHS officials announced 55 new positive COVID test results on Saturday, 35 of whom are from Hillsborough County.
Nine new hospitalized cases were identified for a total of 107 currently being treated in health facilities.
DHHS also announced four additional deaths, all Hillsborough County residents 60 or older.
Meanwhile on Friday health officials widened their testing availability to include anyone who wants to get tested for COVID-19.
They can register at https://www.nh.gov/covid19/index.htm or call 603.271.5980 and most likely make an appointment the same day, state DHHS Chief Lori Shibinette said during a press conference in Concord.
"We're now offering testing for all people at six fixed testing sites (Rochester Armory-Brock Street)," she said. "That includes asymptomatic. Anybody can get a test, we encourage folks to go out and get tested."
Also on Friday Gov. Chris Sununu may have whetted the appetite for outdoors adventurers when he hinted that outdoor attractions like the Polar Caves in Rumney and Lost River in Woodstock were on his wish list to flex open as soon as guidelines can be codified.
