ROCHESTER - Susan Ann Mayo (Henderson) of Rochester died Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, in her home after a brief illness.
Susan was a native of Rochester, born May 7, 1958, she spent most of her life here. Susan married Michael Mayo on April 16, 1977. Mike and Sue spent 43 years of marriage together and had one son, Michael Mayo Jr.
Mike and Sue owned a small business where Sue touched the lives of both her employees and customers alike. Sue was known to be a very giving, caring and generous person, often going without so others could have, much like the angels Sue coveted.
Sue is survived by her parents Gene and Hazel Henderson of Barrington, husband Michael of Rochester, son Michael and his wife Amy of Farmington, brothers David, Stan and Ken, sisters Tammy, Betty and Bonnie, granddaughter Emily, extended grandson Bryce and many nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded by her brother Mark.
