SWAT team in place as Rochester barricade drama unfolds

ROCHESTER - Rochester and State Police including a SWAT team have responded to a Washington Street address where it is reported a subject has barricaded themselves in a structure.

The incident began to unfold around 5:30 p.m. with a heavy police presence now in place between Chesley Hill Road and Estes Road where Washington Street is closed to traffic, according to Northeast Fire Alerts.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are currently on scene.
