Temps will be in the 70s for Wings and Wheels, even hotter at wings' eating tilt

ROCHESTER - The weather promises to warm up tomorrow just in time for Saturday's Wings and Wheels event, but it will get even hotter with the return of Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin' Challenge.

The wings' eating contest will be held on the Entertainment Stage at noon, but anyone who wants to sign up to be among the 12 contestants must sign up before tomorrow. To sign up go to Facebook and search Wings and Wheels Rochester NH

Wings and Wheels will also include aviation adventures, a car and motorcycle show, Kid Zone games, crafts, exhibits, live music and dance performances, concessions, raffles.

Wings and Wheels runs from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. and is hosted by the Rochester Police Department, the Rotary Club of Rochester, Skyhaven Airport, and Pease Development Authority. There is no admission charge, however, attendees are encouraged to make a donation that will benefit local Rochester nonprofits.

Community vendors and local organizations will offer games and crafts for kids, a Kid Zone area, and a food court with local food trucks including Costin's Concessions, Forkin Grub, and Miss Polly's.

There will also be a car, motorcycle, and aircraft show with hundreds of vintage and custom vehicles and aircraft that families can see up close. A variety of performances will be available to enjoy on the entertainment stage including the Just Right Brass quintet, Zac Francis, and friends and students from Studio 109 Dance and McDonough Grimes Irish Step Dance group.
