The Great Eight: Kickers representing city Elks put on a show at state soccer shoot

DOVER - Contestants representing the Rochester Elks Lodge #1393 competed in the New Hampshire State Elks Soccer Shoot, conducted at the Dover Elks Lodge #184 on Sunday.

They competed against other soccer shoot winners from all over New Hampshire. The Rochester entrants had one fourth-place finisher, four second-place finishers and three first-place finishers.

The first-place winners will go on to the Regional contest in Auburn, Mass., Nov. 6.

The results for the Rochester competitors were as follows:

U8 Girls - Maia Linck, 2nd Place with a score of 18.

U8 Boys - Gandewa Lumanauw - 1st Place with a score of 43.

U10 Girls - Claire Dueluzeau, 2nd Place with a score of 25.

U10 Boys - Gael Linck, 2nd Place with a score of 36.

U12 Girls - Sienna Littlefield, 1st Place with a score of 44.

U12 Boys - Davin Pintarelli, 4th place with a score of 33.

U14 Girls - Stella Mitropoulous, 2nd Place with a score of 26.

U14 Boys - Cameron Bastien, 1st Place with a score of 57.

Rochester also took home both Golden Boot Awards (High Scores) - Cameron Bastien, Winner, Grid Goal with a score of 57 and Gandewa Lumanauw, Winner, 5 Goal with a score of 43.

A total of 27 boys and girls from seven different New Hampshire cities competed in the State Contest.
