The New Hampshire Senate will vote Thursday on SB 63, a bill that provides liability protection against COVID-19 lawsuits for employers who are following state and federal health and safety guidelines.

The New Hampshire Business and Industry Association is urging folks who support the bill to contact state senators and urge their support of SB 63. "Sending a message to all senators is easy and will only take a few minutes of your time," a message from the BIA stated today.

In an op-ed published recently in The Rochester Voice, Jim Roche,

president of the BIA, urged quick passage.

"As we recover from the coronavirus pandemic, one of the largest threats to our economy is legal action related to COVID-19 exposure," he said. "It's for this reason I urge you to vote now in favor of Senate Bill 63, a bill that protects New Hampshire employers who have complied in good faith with state and federal COVID-19 health and safety guidelines from unwarranted lawsuits from people who claim to have contracted the coronavirus and are seeking damages. Do not postpone approving this bill!"

Below are the emails of all state senators. If anyone would like to send them a message just copy and paste into your email.
