ROCHESTER - A toddler was injured in a two-car crash at the intersection of Columbus and Summer streets on Thursday.

Police say around 5 p.m. that Debby Richardson, 46, of Ossipee, N.H., was traveling South on Columbus Ave driving a Dodge Stratus.

As the Dodge entered the intersection it was struck by a Chevrolet Aveo that was traveling West on Summer Street before it entered the intersection.

The Aveo was operated by Brittany Flanders, 25, of Epsom, N.H.

Both vehicles suffered extensive front end damage and were towed from the scene.

A 3-year-old male traveling in the back of the Aveo was transported to Frisbiej Memorial Hospital by Frisbie EMS for what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries.

Flanders was cited for a traffic light violation.

Speed and alcohol did not appear to be factors in the collision, police said.
