ROCHESTER - Rochester Police arrested two Farmington women after a Sunday traffic stop on Salmon Falls Road, one after she was identified as a habitual offender and the other after she arrived to pick up a passenger in the car while driving on a suspended license.

The incident unfolded around 1:45 a.m., when following a routine traffic stop near Woodland Green, Lakyn N. Webber, 28, of 53 Dream Hill Terrace, initially refused to give her name and was subsequently identified as being a habitual offender with a capias warrant out of Belknap Superior Court. Webber was also charged with disobeying a police officer.

After police arranged for the vehicle to be towed, a passenger who was driving with Webber called an acquaintance and arranged to be picked up at the scene as police were taking Webber to Belknap County due to the capias.

However, upon their arrival to pick up the passenger, police ran her license and learned that the driver was operating the vehicle on a suspended license.

At that point Rema Tajildeen, 33, also of 53 Dream Hill Terrace, was arrested on charges of driving after revocation or suspension.
