Two thirds of Lebanon, Maine, households remain without power today following Monday's daylong drubbing of the region with strong winds and drenching rain.

Across Greater Rochester trees were toppled due to rain-soaked roots and 50-60 mph gusts, leaving roads littered with branches and sometimes entire trees that made them impassable.

Winds from the coastal storm that came up the Eastern Seaboard over the weekend slowly subsided throughout Monday afternoon, but power restoration efforts remain painfully slow, especially in Maine where 330,000 households still remain in the dark.

According to CMP and Eversource websites, today's outage numbers as of 8 a.m. are as follows: Barrington, 42; Dover, 41; Farmington, 24; Rochester, 56; Somersworth, 10; Milton, 98; Berwick, 222; and Lebanon, 1,906.
