CONCORD - DHHS announced 34 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Tuesday, including five under the age of 18 three from Strafford County.

One new hospitalization was identified for a total of nine currently statewide.

DHHS also announced two additional deaths related to COVID-19, both female residents of Rockingham County 60 or older.

Locally, Barrington, which had two COVID cases identified at the Barrington Elementary School on Monday, has the most of area communities with six, while Rochester, Dover, Somersworth and Farmington all have 1-4 and Strafford and Milton have none.

DHHS officials have not released whether the two infected were students, administrators or staff, or whether they were asymptomatic, which means having no symptoms.

Barrington Elementary School went to remote learning on Monday, but will resume in-school classes next Monday, school officials said on Tuesday.

Meanwhile UNH active cases are down to 25, with 54 recovered after an outbreak that began earlier this month.
