UNH grad will soon begin field training en route to active duty for RPD

ROCHESTER - The Rochester Police Department announced on Wednesday that Officer Aidan Birmingham has graduated from the 191st New Hampshire Police Academy at the Police Standards & Training Council in Concord. The graduation ceremony was held on April 28, 2023.

Officer Birmingham was hired by the Rochester Police Department in September. He graduated from UNH with a bachelor's degree in Homeland Security and a minor in Corporate Security. Birmingham was a distinguished member of the ROTC program and received the Superior Cadet Award in 2020.

Following his graduation from the police academy, he will complete in-house training and begin field training in two weeks.
