Update: Dover man ID'd as victim, remains in critical condition at Boston hospital

DOVER - Dover Police said today that a Father's Day shooting at a New Rochester Road home occurred during a domestic disturbance at a family gathering.

When police responded to 42 Old Rochester Road around 3:40 p.m. they found the victim, a 35-year-old Dover man, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital and later transferred to Boston Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition today.

All of those involved in the incident have been identified, and police say there is no threat to the public.

While no charges have been filed yet, Dover Police continue their investigation in conjunction with the Strafford County Attorneys Office.
