Vendors, volunteers sought for city's Pride celebration

ROCHESTER - The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts is looking for vendors for the city's third annual Pride street festival. The event will take place Aug. 25 on Hanson Street. There will also be a free Dance Party at the new Performance & Arts Center immediately following the festival.

The festival will feature vendors, food, and live music. Most downtown businesses will be displaying pride flags. Select businesses will offer Pride-related activities and events in their establishments.

The mission of the event is to promote unity, visibility, inclusivity, equality, and a positive image of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ+) community. Interested vendors are encouraged to contact the museum as soon as possible.

For more information, to RSVP, donate, become a vendor, or sign up to volunteer visit www.rochestermfa.org/pride.

Rochester Pride is made possible by Rochester Main Street (supported in part by a grant from the New Hampshire State Council On The Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.)
