Staff Reports
ROCHESTER - An autopsy on the woman found dead inside a city duplex was performed on Wednesday, but results from toxicology tests aren't expected to be completed for several weeks, a Rochester Police spokesman said on Thursday. The 33-year-old Rochester woman was found unresponsive and not breathing in a common area of a Wakefield Street residence near Glenwood Avenue on Tuesday. The woman's identity has not been released. The woman had lived in town for only a short time, according to Rochester Police Capt. Gary Boudreau, who said she was found around 11:15 a.m. by family members. The death has been classified as "untimely" pending completion of the autopsy and toxicology tests.
