'What interests Milton?' outreach set for April 28

MILTON - The Strafford Regional Planning Commission will be conducting an “Outreach Program” for Milton on Monday, April 28, at 5 p.m., in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room.

This Outreach Program is being conducted in various municipalities in the Strafford County region.  The program includes a meeting in which they reach out to Milton committees and residents with questions about the Town. The theme is “What interests Milton?”

In general the questions would assess your opinions concerning transportation, housing, the environment, regional services, etc.

At the meeting, questions are asked to an audience composed of various committee members and the public. Each audience member uses a handheld device called a “clicker” to answer each question. This allows a comfortable anonymity in the answering process.  The results are then calculated electronically and shown on a screen. The goal of this program is to enable the Town as a whole to better understand and comprehend the opinions from various viewpoints concerning many areas of interest in the Town.

The public is invited to attend.
