ROCHESTER - William M. Potter, 61, of Gonic, died Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Frisbie Hospital with family by his side.
He was predeceased by his parents Lynn and Kathleen Potter, sister Gail Moore, brother-in-law Richard Gervais, and his dear friends Bruce and Bob.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Mona (Gervais) Potter of Gonic; son Mitchell Potter of Sandy, Utah; brothers Lynn E. Potter III and his wife Ginny of Calif., and James Potter and his wife Sandy of Rochester; brothers-in-law Norman Gervais and his wife Dottie of Rochester, Jerry Gervais and his wife Angie of Rochester, Lew Gervais and his wife Barbara of Palm Bay, Fla., Richard Moore and his wife Julie of Wells, Maine; and many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
Bill was a call firefighter in Gonic (Engine 3 Dirty Dozen) and involved in the oil business for many years. Most recently he worked at Rochester Truck Repair.
He was proud of his son and would tell everyone he met about him. He enjoyed going to auctions, Foxwoods, and playing the lottery. He loved snowmobiling and spending time with his friends at his camp in Errol. His infectious laugh and ability to make everyone else laugh will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
