ROCHESTER - A winter parking ban will be in effect in Rochester from 11 p.m. tonight till Sunday at 7 a.m.

The Department of Public Works will be out doing snow removal in the downtown areas.

The following streets will be affected:
Downtown
South Main from Lambert to North Main Street
North Main St. From South Main to Maple Street
Wakefield Street from South Main to Union Street
Portland Street from Columbus Ave to Charles Street
All of Union Street, Bridge Street, Hanson Street, Central Ave, Liberty Street, Granite Street and Davyanne Locke
Downtown Gonic

Main Street from Colby Street to Pickering Road
All of Colby Street
Church Street from Main Street to rear entrance to Gonic Mill
Railroad Avenue from Pickering Road to the Gonic School.

No vehicle without an exemption permit may be parked on these city streets or in city parking lots during this time.
