Woman dies as van crashes into tree on Depot Road
Staff reports 6:10 a.m. LEBANON - A woman was killed Tuesday when her van struck a tree on Depot Road. According to a brief press release from Maine State Police, the crash occurred around 8 p.m. A Lifeflight had been requested but was canceled when her death was confirmed. Traffic in the area of 406 Depot Road was shut down for a short period of time while first responders worked. The woman was alone in the vehicle and died at the scene, police said. Her name is expected to be released today.
