Woman who perished in fire was Lebanon resident

LEBANON, Maine - The woman who died in an apartment fire here on Saturday has been identified as a Lebanon woman.

April S. Patch, 46, died of smoke inhalation, according to the Maine Medical Examiner's Office.

The Fire Marshal's Office is awaiting test results before releasing the cause of the fire.

The blaze was called in around 5:45 p.m. for a fire in an apartment above a garage at 1320 Carl-Broggi Highway (Route 202) in Lebanon.

Rescuers located Patch, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
