ALFRED, Maine - The York County Sheriff's Office is hoping the public can help deputies locate a Shapleigh man who's on the loose and considered armed and dangerous.
Brandon Mahoney, 25, who was last seen Monday wearing a camouflage shirt and shorts on Shapleigh Corner Road, has several outstanding warrants on assault complaints.
He is 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds with hazel eyes and black hair.
Mahoney may be looking for shelter and/or transportation, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.
If anyone encounters Mahoney, do not engage in conversation with him. Contact the sheriff's office immediately by calling 911.
