ROCHESTER - A youngster was injured on Thursday when his bike collided with a vehicle exiting Rochester Tire on North Main Street.

Police responded a little before 5 p.m. and found that Gary Woodrow, 70, of Milton, was pulling in to traffic on North Main Street from the parking lot when the young bicyclist, who was riding on the sidewalk, pulled in front of him.

The bicycle collided with the vehicle, and the juvenile, who was not wearing a helmet, ended up on the hood of the car, according to police.

The juvenile was transported to Frisbie Hospital for what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries.
