Your Voice: J. Cole deserves credit for cleanup day

Jason Cole is the one that started people in town with being interested in taking four hours for one day in the spring picking up trash on the side of the road.

Now The Lebanon Voice and selectpeople are jumping on the band wagon after dragging Jason through the muck. That would have been OK if they would have mentioned that simple little fact.

The town looks so much better after that is done. I have over my life had issues with different people BUT fair is fair.

I would be totally naive if I thought people agreed with everything I have done. When it has happened I have not been happy with someone I have been person enough to stand and say I really do not agree with everything that person has done but let’s look at the total picture.

I can say there are things that the selectmen have done which I haven’t agreed with but I also said that I wouldn’t want to do that job. It is very easy to stand on the sidelines and criticize what people do. The town needs more people to get involved with different things so more people understand what does happen so that is why this has happened.
