Your Voice: Wendt deserves your write-in vote
Staff To the editor: The voters of Milton NH are facing a difficult task this year. After several years of operating under a Default Budget, and an ever increasing School Budget, they must decide what is needed and when. Many of the Warrant Articles are needed, many are critical for the future of Milton. But can the Taxpayers of Milton Support everything? That is up to the Voters to decide. We need prudent planning and fiscal responsibility on the Budget Committee as well as on the part of the Selectmen and School Board. After speaking with Steven Wendt today and discussing the open position for Budget Committee, he has agreed that if he receives enough write in votes for the "VACANT" 3 Year Budget Committee position he will accept the position. I think we owe the Town of Milton NH and the taxpayers a reasonable voice and urge you all to write in Steven Wendt on Election Day!
