The blackened chicken Caesar Salad with a Bud heavy (Rochester Voice photo)

SOMERSWORTH - Known throughout the Northern Seacoast as a warm and welcoming dive bar, 2 Doors Down has been inviting customers into its cozy confines on Route 108 to enjoy outstanding meals at reasonable prices and friendly bartenders who make the stay even better.
We stopped by recently just before noon to find the place already had a few customers and decided on the blackened chicken Caesar salad.
Now most places you go for a Caesar salad it's $12 or $13 bucks for the Caesar salad and another $5 for the chicken.
Here it was about $12 for the Caesar salad with the chicken, and the chicken, delightfully seasoned and grilled to perfection, was among the best I've had.
The plate came with copious amounts of crisp romaine lettuce, croutons and sprinkled with freshly grated parmesan.
The also had hard shell tacos which we sampled for under $3.
The meal was out in about 10 minutes and the chicken was piping hot.
There's no way you can go wrong at 2 Doors Down.
They're located at 369 NH 108, in Somersworth. Phone 603.841.5980.
