NORTH BERWICK, Maine - Noble High School Theater Department will perform "Into the Woods" tonight, Saturday and Sunday

Sunday will be a 2 p.m. matinee and the other shows are at 7 p.m. The musical will be performed at Noble High School (388 Somersworth Rd, North Berwick). Admission is $8.

Noble High School's spellbinding production of "Into the Woods" will captivate you. Fantastical wishes meet real consequences in this magical, thought provoking musical.

This story weaves together characters and story lines from classic fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault; music and lyrics are by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. This production explores the consequences of these well known characters' wishes and quests.

Live musical accompaniment is provided by students, parents and teachers. Lighting, sound and stage crews are also dedicated, top notch students.

Noble Theater casts their fall musicals in June, giving the production an edge on preparation. The musical is very popular with the student actors and participation is great, which leads to a high quality performance.
