ROCHESTER - Police have arrested a second suspect in the Dec. 26 armed robbery of George & Ed's General Store.

Lana Markson, 30, of Nottingham, turned herself into police on Wednesday. She was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, a Class A felony punishable by 7 and a half to 15 years in prison.

Markson was released on $1,500 PR bail with an arraignment set for later this month.

Anthony M. Driscoll

Anthony M. Driscoll, 30, who is suspected of carrying out the robbery, was arrested in Derry on Monday and transported back to Rochester where he refused bail.

Police say the robbery occurred the day after Christmas around 5:55 p.m. when a man entered the store, brandished what appeared to be a semi-automatic pistol at the clerk and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer before fleeing the scene.

The man was seen arriving and leaving in a small dark colored SUV/crossover style vehicle, which parked on an adjacent street.

According to paperwork filed with Markson's arrest warrant, she worked with Driscoll "to cause the commission of the crime of robbery" and cased the store just minutes before the robbery occurred.

Driscoll remains held without bail at Strafford County House of Corrections.
