Acton teen hurt in Milton Mills Road crash into pole

NORTH LEBANON - An Acton teenager was injured today when the car he was driving spun out of control and ran into a utility pole, snapping it in two.

The driver, 16, said he lost control on an icy section of Milton Mills Road. His injuries were considered minor, according to a Lebanon Rescue press release.

The accident occurred around 8 a.m. about a half-mile from the Acton line

The Volvo station wagon the teen was driving was destroyed.

Central Maine Power responded to the scene, but it wasn’t immediately known if service had been interrupted.

Emergency crews were on scene until approximately 8:45.

The accident remains under investigation by Maine State Police.
