ROCHESTER - The Rochester man accused of threatening to kill a woman by "slicing her throat" in August was convinced to hand over his switchblade at the scene by another individual, according to an affidavit obtained by The Rochester Voice.

Christopher Isaacson, 45, with a last known address of 29 Signal St., Apt. A, is charged with a single Class B felony of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, which is punishable by up to seven years in state prison.

The woman who was allegedly threatened was in an argument with Isaacson when she she called him a "looney tune," according to the affidavit, which stated he then "left the kitchen and returned with a switchblade from the living room. Isaacson then held the switchblade to (her) throat stating, 'I'm going to slice your ----ing throat bitch.'"

During the booking process Isaacson is said to have made several "excited" statements including, "I still had the knife in my hand before you (police) arrived, and I thought to myself, here we go. (Someone else there) convinced me to give (them) the knife."

Court documents indicate the incident occurred on Aug. 26 in Rochester.

The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on Jan. 13 and released on Wednesday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to move forward to trial.
