Albus is a five-year-old lop-eared rabbit. He came to the shelter a month ago after his owners could no longer care for him. He is eagerly waiting to find a forever home where he can be loved!

Most days, you can find Albus hopping about his pen at the shelter, munching on carrots, rolling his toys around, or jumping through his makeshift tunnel. Once he's finished getting his exercise, Albus likes to settle in for a peaceful nap. He's seen lots of furry friends come and go during his time at CVHS, and is now one of the only pets in the small animal room. Though all his neighbors have found their forever homes, Albus is still waiting.

Albus is a social rabbit, and will benefit from a home where he can receive continued socialization. He has previously shown some guarding behaviors, but these have decreased following his alteration. However, we recommend he go to a home without young children, due to these past behaviors.

Do you have room for Albus to hippity-hop his way into your heart? Come meet him at Cocheco Valley Humane Society at 262 County Farm Road in Dover, NH! For more information on adopting a pet, visit cvhsonline.org.
