MILTON - An East Wakefield man died at the scene of a rollover on Route 125 near Exit 18 late New Year's Eve, and police say alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Police were called to the scene a little before 10 p.m. and found one vehicle, identified as a Mitsubishi Endeavor, about 50 feet off the north side of the roadway.

A female subject was located on scene and was determined to be the operator identified as, Dianne Jenner, age 44, of East Wakefield. Jenner sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

The front passenger, identified as Donald Thomas, 58, also of East Wakefield, was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Based upon the initial investigation, it appears that the Mitsubishi was traveling northbound on Route 125 when it lost control, left the roadway and rolled over.

Jenner was eventually arrested at the hospital and charged with felony aggravated driving while under the influence.

At the request of the initial responding units, the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction, (C.A.R.) Unit responded to the scene. The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction, (C.A.R.) Unit was assisted on scene by members of the New Hampshire State Police-Troop A, the Milton Police Department, the Milton Fire and Rescue Department, as well as The Office of the State Medical Examiner. Due to the collision, Route 125 in this area was closed for approximately four hours.

Anyone that may have further information related to this collision, or who witnessed this collision is encouraged to contact Trooper First Class Greg Dube at 603-223-8490 or by email at greg.dube@dos.nh.gov.
