Allan Hodgkins ... longtime N.E. Telephone worker

EAST ROCHESTER - Allan W. Hodgkins, 86, of 27 Cross Road, died Monday, February 18, 2019 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born May 10, 1932 in Pittsfield, Maine the son of the late Adrian and Viola (Skipton) Hodgkins.
Allan was a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1950 where he played baseball and football. He served in the Army from 1954-1956, then worked in the office of New England Telephone Company for 34 years. He was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church since 1945 and also a member of Humane Lodge #21 and the Grange. Allan served on the Cemetery and Baseball committees for East Rochester.
The widower of Lillian (Allen) Hodgkins, he is survived by son, Dana Hodgkins; daughters, Donna I. Lessard and husband Michael, Karen M. Hodgkins; grandchildren, Kristopher and Deidre Lessard, Cody and Dakota Hodgkins; great-grandson, Dominic Hinojos; sisters in-law, Beverly Allen, Priscilla Warren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins.
