Alton man injured, cited in Rochester crash

ROCHESTER - An Alton man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at the intersection of Washington Street and Estes Road.

An investigation by police revealed that Brianna Anderson of Strafford, N.H., was driving a 2005 Ford Freestar van west on Washington Street when she collided with a 1996 GMC Sierra driven by Leo Tremblay of Alton, N.H., who was heading north on Estes Road.

Tremblay was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for nonlife-threatening injuries. Both vehicles suffered heavy damage in the noontime crash and had to be towed from the scene.

Tremblay was issued a summons for Failure to Stop.
