DOVER - Andre R. Moreau, 83, died peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Bellamy Fields in Dover. He was surrounded by his loving family. Born on Jan. 31, 1940, in Saint-Apollinaire, Quebec, Andre was the son of Albert and Albina (Gingras) Moreau.

Andre grew up with his family on a dairy farm in Quebec. In 1958, he took the brave step to move to Dover and start a new life for himself. Andre built a foundation in this community that will be remembered for years to come. He was a handyman to all who knew him and he worked endlessly on his rental properties as well.

When away from the work that he put into his properties, Andre loved his time fishing. He could often be found on the water.

Along with his parents, Andre is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rachel Moreau; and brothers, Gideon Moreau, Fernand Moreau, and Jean Loues Moreau.

Left to cherish memory are his sons, Ricky Moreau and Paul Moreau; grandchildren, Dezerai Moreau, Myranda DeMeritt, Karlyn DeMeritt, Katie DeMers, and Emily Szarka; great-grandchildren, Nolan Carver, Ethan Eager, Skylar Voisine, Ryan Gary, and Landon Raymond; brothers, Leo Moreau, Jules Moreau, Paul Moreau, and Antoine Moreau; and best friend, Paul Galanes.
