ROCHESTER - Arthur G. "Bud" Lambert, 80, passed away Wednesday March 26, 2014 at his home following a period of failing health. Born October 25, 1933 in Rochester, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Ruth (Veno) Lambert.

Mr. Lambert was a graduate of Spaulding High School and the New Hampshire Barber College. He served in the Army. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 1393 of Rochester. Bud owned and operated Bud's Barber Shop in Rochester for 41 years. He enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, playing pool, playing softball on Roy's Dairy, daily visits to the Rochester Elks and was a Boston sports fan. His home away from home on the island of St. Maarten and his summers at Wells and York, Maine beaches brought him such joy with family. Also many wonderful family memories were made every September at Bud and Vickie's time-share in Ashland. Members of his family include his wife of 29 years Victoria (Hayes) Lambert of Rochester; his children Thomas Lambert of Rochester; Sue Hall and husband Greg of Barrington; and Lu-Anne Bilodeau and husband Stephen of Springfield, Massachusetts; nine grandchildren Dustin, Amy, Travis, Brandon, Shaine, Seth, Noah, Jenn and Beth and two great grandchildren Jack and Addie. His sister Janet Pelley and brother Zane Chase and wife Junellen of Rochester; many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother in law William Pelley and his sister Cynthia Maggio.
