What does pie equal? An incredibly delicious time next Saturday at the New Hampshire Farm Museum

MILTON - The Great New Hampshire Pie Festival next Sturday is a longtime huge fan favorite and essential fund-raiser for the New Hampshire Farm Museum.

The whole day is dedicated to pie bakers, pie makers, and all things pie. NHFM judges will be ready to sample pies and award prizes in a variety of categories. The public is also invited to sample pies from local bakeries and vote for the people’s choice for best professional baker.

The event is next Saturday from 10 a.m  to 4 p.m.

Admission is $15 per person with children 12 and under $5. 

Anyone can enter a pie and get free entry.

Categories include Apple, Fruit (Non-Apple), Sweet (Non-Fruit), and Savory. There’s also a separate Children’s Category for kids 12 and under. All pies must be received between 10 a.m. and noon next Saturday. Judging starts promptly at noon.

Pie festival activities

  • Learn from the best with a pie crust rolling demonstration on the porch.
  • Enter the 50/50 Raffle and bid in our Silent Auction.
  • Music by Lance Maclean and the "Moose Mountain String Band"
  • Take a tractor ride to explore our 50+ acre property and visit our animals in the pasture.
  • Our Blacksmith Shoppe, Historic Jones House and 1810 Tavern, Big Yellow Barn, and Carriage Pole Barn will be open for tours.
  • Luncheon items will be available for purchase.
